This colorful rainbow drink recipe is such a fun drink with different layers for each color of the rainbow! We put this recipe together to celebrate Pride Month and it didn’t disappoint. This drink sips with a new flavor as each layer hits and definitely packs a punch. (It’s strong y’all.)
What You’ll Need to Make this Rainbow Drink
- Ice
- Grenadine
- Pineapple Juice
- Lemonade
- Cointreau
- Midori
- Vodka
- Blue Curacao
Directions: How to Make a Rainbow Layered Cocktail

- Pour ice and 1st layer (grenadine) into your glass.
- Prepare each layer in a separate pour-able glass or container (see below).
- Carefully add each layer – one, by one. Add slowly pouring to the edge of the glass so that layers don’t mix together. (You can tilt your glass or use a butter knife to guide your pour.)
- Put drinks in the fridge until ice melts. Rainbow effect should be noticeable right away, but will become clearer in the fridge as the ice melts.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Orange Layer
- 1oz Pineapple Juice
- Splash of Grenadine
- Yellow Layer
- 1/2oz Pineapple Juice
- 1/2oz Lemonade
- 1/2oz Cointreau
